One of the boys has shown a weapon and pointed the weapon at passersby.

Several patrols are alerted to the location and the boys can be quickly located in the area. On one of the persons a weapon is found. At the control it appears that it is a toy weapon. No report is made but guardians will be contacted since the boy who carried the pistol is under 15 years old.

The police want to point out the deeply inappropriate in running around with toy pistols and pointing the weapon at people in the surroundings, regardless of it being Halloween. It can create a lot of fear and fear in those affected and can have very serious consequences if one meets a police officer. We do not have the opportunity to assess at a distance whether a weapon is real or not.

The informant who called the police in this case has acted commendably. He has observed the boys and followed them at a distance and left information to the police that could be checked.
