Just after 6 a.m., an alarm was received about a fire at a sawmill. A little later, information came in that staff had extinguished the fire and there were no reports of injuries.

A little later, however, information came in that two people had been taken to hospital. Police went to the hospital and questioned them.

In addition, nine people are said to have gone to a health centre for check-ups.

Police are handling the incident as a workplace accident.
