Katrineholm: At around 22:30, a patrol saw a car driving very fast through an intersection in Katrineholm. The patrol attempted to stop the car and noticed that it was swerving across the lanes. Fortunately, there was no oncoming traffic. When the car stopped, a man in his late teens was in the driver’s seat and an underage teenage boy was in the passenger seat. The patrol suspects that the driver and passenger switched places while the car was moving. The man in his late teens is suspected of reckless driving and allowing unlicensed driving. The underage boy is suspected of reckless driving and driving without a licence, as he does not have a licence for a passenger car. Both their driving licences have been seized by the police.
Eskilstuna: At 22:45, police were called to a bar in central Eskilstuna because of some kind of altercation. A woman in her 50s was at the scene, heavily intoxicated, and was taken into custody under the Intoxicated Persons Act. She is suspected of having threatened and assaulted a woman of the same age at the scene in some way. No one was seriously injured or needed ambulance care.
Nyköping: At 05:45, the emergency services were alerted to a traffic accident in Husby-Oppunda. A passenger car swerved to avoid wildlife and left the road. The driver crashed into a tree and the airbag deployed. The driver has some pain but is not seriously injured and is being checked by paramedics. The police are sending out a game recovery hunter to search for the animal. The car is not obstructing traffic, and the driver will arrange for it to be towed independently. No crime is suspected.
