Break-in alarm comes in from a gold store on Hamngatan and both police and security guards are ordered to the scene.
A lone perpetrator has entered the store where he used a blunt object to smash a display case.
The theft is said to have gone quickly and after having taken gold, the man managed to escape when the patrols arrived.
A search for the perpetrator is still ongoing. 
The value of the stolen goods is not confirmed but is suspected to be high.
The incident is classified as robbery.
