This evening, police detained a woman in her 40s on suspicion of assaulting a man she is in a relationship with. Police have questioned witnesses and the injured party.

Police will question the woman and inform her of the suspicion, then present the information gathered so far to a prosecutor. The prosecutor will then decide whether to continue detaining her, in the form of a remand, or release her while the investigation is ongoing.
