The police regional command center handled around 90 cases concerning Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00. There were 12 wildlife collisions (deer, wild boar, roe deer), with no injuries. No serious violent crimes or major incidents have come to the police’s attention.

03:14 Criminal damage, etc. – Skänninge

A report comes in about a person trying to enter a doorway in Skänninge. The person is also said to have taken parts from bicycles and a moped. Police arrive at the scene and take a suspect, a man in his mid-20s, away from the scene. As the man is under the influence, he is taken into custody primarily for intoxication, but is also suspected of criminal damage and drug possession.

00:15 Theft – Norrköping

An alarm is raised about a break-in at a property near Kungsgatan in Norrköping. At the scene, a man and a woman, both in their 40s, are found carrying, among other things, copper pipes and tools. They are both arrested and later detained on suspicion of theft of the normal degree.
