October 25 08.06, Summary of the night, Västernorrland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.00 Attempted break-in, Sundsvall:
Police are ordered to a school on Västermalm where a break-in alarm has gone off. No suspected perpetrator is found at the scene. A report is filed regarding an attempted theft through break-in.

00.10 Traffic control, Härnösand:
All individuals checked at a traffic control on E4, Älandsbro, are without incident.

02.40 Assault, Sollefteå:
Police are contacted about a suspected assault. A man is reported to have been assaulted by another man. Police patrol speaks with the injured party and files a report. The man is given a ride to medical care. There is no suspect in the case.

02.45 Assault, Sundsvall:
Police patrol is ordered to Stenstan where a man is reported to have assaulted another man at a bar and then left the scene. An interview is held with the injured party and witnesses, and a report is filed. There is no suspect in the case.

04.05 Traffic accident, Kramfors:
Police are contacted about a car being driven onto a plot in Lugnvik. Police patrol is ordered to the scene. No person is left in or near the car, which is lying on its side. The incident is being investigated.

04.29 Assault, Timrå:
Police are ordered to Sörberge where it is reported that there was a fight between a man and a woman who are in a relationship with each other. A report and a counter-report regarding assault are filed.

Other:
Twelve people have been taken into custody for intoxication between 00.00 and 07.00. One of these is suspected of violent resistance. One person has been taken in for a blood test after suspicion of narcotics offense.

Police have also conducted checks of people and vehicles that did not result in any suspicion of a crime.

Update 08.11:

05.30 Drunk driving, Örnsköldsvik:
At a stop and check of a car, the driver blows positively in the police's sorting instrument and is taken in for a blood test. A report is filed regarding drunk driving, and the driver's license is confiscated.
