October 25, 08.05, Summary of the night, Jönköping County

Here follow a selection of the night's cases:

00.52: Police are alerted to Väster city in Jönköping after a report of a man being assaulted in connection with a brawl. The man, in his 40s, is not seriously injured. It is unclear exactly what happened. Police have been on the scene and filed a report of assault and interviewed potential witnesses. The perpetrator is unknown. 

01.09, Värnamo: Police are alerted to an address in Värnamo where a man in his late teens is reported to have been assaulted and chased by a man in his early twenties. The two men had been together in the evening. The police apprehend the perpetrator, who is suspected of assault and aggravated threats. The 18-year-old is not seriously injured.

02.31, Fredhem, Jönköping: Police are alerted to a multi-family house in Fridhem after a report of a brawl in an apartment. In the apartment is a woman in her mid-twenties and a man in his thirties who are in a relationship. No one is injured but possibly someone has been harassing the other. Both the man and the woman are suspected of harassment against each other.  

Aside from this, the Police have handled cases of drunk driving, wildlife accidents, traffic offenses, mental health issues, minor narcotics offenses, and made various checks on their own initiative or after a report from the public.
