
It has been a normal Friday night in the region. Below follows a selection of cases that we have handled.
Lindesberg kl 01.11. Drink-driving. A driver chooses not to stop at a police officer's signal near Rya. The driver has driven their vehicle in a very reckless manner. A shorter pursuit begins before the patrol is able to stop the vehicle. The driver, a man in his 30s, is detained as a suspect for several crimes. After an interrogation with the man, a prosecutor decided that he should remain detained and he is now arrested. The man is suspected of gross negligence in traffic, gross unlawful driving, gross drink-driving under the influence of narcotics, and a crime against the knife law.
Örebro, kl 00.58. Assault. There has been an assault at a restaurant in the city center. A boy in his older teenage years has been subjected to a crime but there is no suspect in this case. The boy is taken home to his residence. There is no information that the boy needed emergency medical care due to this incident.
Aside from this, we have among other things checked a number of people or vehicles, taken in 3 people according to the LOB, The Act on the Deprivation of Liberty of Intoxicated Persons, and handled 7 wildlife accidents.
