During the morning, information arrived about copper thefts along the railway in Västerbotten south of Umeå. The police went out and conducted interrogations and performed a crime scene investigation.

At the same time as the police were working at the track, rail traffic has been at a standstill, which Trafikverket has informed its passengers about.

Initially, there is no suspect in the case being investigated as theft. The police are continuing to work on the investigation.
