October 21, 5:27 p.m., Traffic accident, hit-and-run, Västerås

Police are called to the intersection of Köpingsvägen/Lantvärnsgatan in Västerås following a traffic accident in which a person was hit by a car.

The person who was hit is taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries is currently unclear, but they were conscious when transported.

According to information from the scene, the car left the scene after hitting the person.

Police are working to establish what happened and are interested in any observations from the scene.
