Reports have been received about a 70-year-old woman being contacted by someone via a chat application. The person is then alleged to have tricked the woman into transferring money.

The police were dispatched and spoke with the woman about the incident. A report of aggravated fraud was drawn up.

The police wish to remind everyone that one should never disclose codes or other sensitive information at the request of an unknown person, and that one should not transfer money at the request of an unknown person.
