Shortly after midnight, calls come in about a wild boar accident on a smaller road near Vattholma.

Police and an ambulance are alerted to the scene where a man in his 60s is found to have collided with a wild boar on a vintage moped.

He is reportedly said to have been driving at approximately 20 kilometers per hour when the wild boar sprang up onto the road.

The man complains of pain and is taken to hospital by ambulance.

The wild boar escapes the accident scene and a tracker is called to the scene.

The police suspect no crime.
