Police and an ambulance are called to Kungsgatan following an assault outdoors.

According to initial reports, the assault was preceded by some kind of altercation outside a bar. 

The victim, a man in his 20s, is found at the scene. He is taken to hospital by ambulance. A police patrol goes to the hospital to interview him. 

Near the scene, a police patrol checks a car. A man is found inside and, after further checks, is arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.  

It is initially unclear whether the victim and the suspect know each other. 

The suspect is in his 20s and is now being held in custody.
