Between 16:00 and 20:00, seven wildlife collisions were reported in Gävleborg County.

16:53 Bönavägen, Gävle: Collision with a roe deer.

17:18 National Road 83, Bollnäs: Collision with a roe deer.

18:04 County Road 643, Söderhamn: Collision with a roe deer.

18:51 Bönavägen, Gävle: Collision with a roe deer.

19:07 County Road 758, Nordanstig: Collision with a roe deer.

19:10 County Road 676, Hudiksvall: Collision with a roe deer.

19:21 Kilafors, Bollnäs: Collision with a moose.

Wildlife officers have been contacted in all cases. There are no reports of personal injuries.

Anyone involved in a collision with a bear, wolf, wolverine, lynx, moose, deer, roe deer, otter, wild boar, mouflon sheep or eagle is required to mark the accident site as soon as possible and call 112. This also applies if the animal does not appear to be injured or is lying dead at the scene. If the animal has left the scene, the marker should be placed on the side of the road where it disappeared.

Failing to notify the police about a collision with any of the aforementioned animals is a criminal offence and may result in a day-fine.
