October 14, 10.25, Assault, severe, Nynäshamn

Police and ambulance are alerted to Nynäshamn due to a battered woman. The woman is located outdoors as she has left the apartment where her husband used a blunt instrument to batter her.
Assessment on the scene is that the woman is not seriously injured but she is still taken to the hospital by ambulance. 

The suspected man is found in the vicinity of the residence and arrested. He is in his 60s and suspected of aggravated assault. The apartment is cordoned off to be investigated by the police's technicians.
