Police regional command center has handled around 40 cases related to Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

01:27 SOS alarm about a traffic accident on regional road 1136 outside Ljungsbro, Linköping. According to the alarm, a driver is said to have swerved to avoid a deer and then driven into a ditch and into a tree. The police have been on the scene and two people were taken to hospital by ambulance for a check-up, initially no serious injuries. A wrecker was ordered to the scene and there is no suspicion of a crime.

In addition to this, the police have had cases involving public intoxication, traffic offenses, mental health issues, and various checks on their own initiative or following a report from the public that have not led to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
