Between 00-08, the police have, among other things, carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

23:56 Firearms Act, Östersund
Information is received that someone is suspected of having shot at a parked car in Östersund. A man in his 40s is arrested suspected of violating the Firearms Act, vandalism, and causing danger to others. The man is questioned and the prosecutor decides to lift the arrest. The car is seized for technical examination. The weapons that the man has a license for are confiscated. The case is led by the prosecutor.
00:06 Drunk Driving, Östersund
Police check a tractor in Östersund. The driver blows positively in the police's screening device and further sampling is carried out. Since the driver is under 18, the guardian is contacted. The driver's license is confiscated and a report on gross drunk driving is to be drawn up.
Two wildlife accidents have been reported to the police during the night and morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.

The police have issued six fines for disorderly conduct due to alcohol being consumed in places where it is not allowed according to municipal regulations, handled a trafficking offense, issued a fine for too many passengers in a vehicle, and taken four people into custody under the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons (LOB). The police have also handled a traffic accident and seized a boat that is suspected of being stolen.
