Reports of a snowmobile accident came in shortly before 15 o'clock today. The police on duty commander decided on mountain rescue according to the LSO, the Act on Protection against Accidents, and mountain rescuers were called out to help the affected person. An ambulance helicopter also flew to the scene.

The person involved in the accident has died, relatives have been informed. The accident is to be investigated by the police.
