A woman in her early twenties has been subjected to an assault by an unknown perpetrator. The assault is classified as rape. During the night, morning, and day, investigative measures have been carried out in the form of securing evidence, interviews, crime scene investigation, and other gathering of information. At present, no one has been arrested on suspicion of the crime.

The crime came to the police's attention at 03.24 on the night before Sunday and the assault occurred in the Klara district, along the river at the level of Regementsgatan. The police want to get in touch with witnesses who may have made observations in the area between 03 and 04 in the morning (Sunday). Tips and observations are reported to the police on phone 114 14, stating "tips" in the response for rapid connection to the operator.
