During the afternoon, the police were contacted regarding a dead lynx in Bjurholms municipality. The animal is likely to have been struck. The accident has not been reported to the police, which is why a report on the animal's death is being prepared.

The police have gone and collected the animal. Lynx belong to the state's wildlife and will be sent to SVA, the National Veterinary Institute.
