Hallsberg, traffic accident.
05.55: A serious traffic accident has occurred on Lv 633. Two passenger cars are involved with one person in each of the involved vehicles. The road will be closed during the rescue work, please choose an alternative route. The rescue service and medical care are also on the accident site.

Update:
A person was transported to medical care, this person was awake and able to speak but complained of pain. The extent of the injury is unknown. The person was initially pinned in.

The second person, a middle-aged man who was driving the other vehicle, died at the scene in connection with the accident. Relatives have been informed.

The police investigation into the circumstances that led to the accident continues, an investigation has been initiated with charges of gross negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm. 

Interrogations have been held, vehicle inspectors are currently conducting an initial investigation of the accident site. The involved vehicles are seized, it involves two passenger cars, a trailer and a 4-wheeler. All vehicles have been towed from the site.
The road remains closed due to ongoing work.
