A security guard contacted the police when he was threatened by a person at a restaurant in central Västerås. The person had left the scene after the threat was made and the security guard had followed and apprehended the person.

The police were dispatched and the person, a man in his 30s, was suspected of threatening an official. He was also taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons.
