On Saturday morning, reports came in of a suspected theft at an address in Östersund. Police went there, and at the scene information emerged about an earlier assault: A man in his 20s is suspected of assaulting a woman he is in a relationship with. The man was arrested.

He was questioned, a prosecutor was contacted and decided to detain the man, who is suspected of assault, gross unlawful threat and unlawful appropriation.
