Police stopped a motorist in Nusnäs this morning. The driver, a man in his 30s, provided a positive breath test during the check, indicating that there was alcohol in his breath.
The vehicle he was driving was also subject to a driving ban because it had not undergone an inspection.

A decision was made to carry out further testing on suspicion of drink-driving. After the evidential test was completed, suspicion remained that the man had driven under the influence of alcohol and driven a vehicle subject to a driving ban.
