Police have stopped and checked a number of people and vehicles around Vindelns municipality during the afternoon. At 2 pm, a driver was stopped in central Vindeln. Fines were issued because the car's "headlights/front fog lights are missing, are out of order, are defective, are not of approved type or are not installed in accordance with the prescribed manner". Three more drivers received fines for the same reason during the afternoon.

At 2:30 pm, a driver was stopped on county road 363. The vehicle's windshield was defective and fines were issued.

At 3 pm, a sobriety check was conducted in Hällnäs, without any remarks. A traffic check was then conducted on county road 363.
