
The police regional command center has handled around 100 incidents during the night between 22.00 and 07.00 in Östergötland county.
Here follow a selection of the night's cases.
23.59, Traffic Offence: Patrol performs a routine check on a moped rider on S:t Larsgatan in Linköping. Upon checking the driver's license, it is discovered that the driver does not wear glasses or lenses, which is a condition for the driver's license. The driver, a woman in her 20s, is therefore suspected of unauthorized driving.
02.03: Narcotics Offence: Police have carried out routine foot patrols in Skäggetorp in Linköping. Two people who were checked at different times between 02 and 03 are suspected of minor narcotics offences through possession. One man is in his 20s and the other is in his 40s.
06.21, Wild Animal Accident: Police are alerted to a collision between a car and a deer on Highway 51 south of Ljusfallshammar. The car is damaged so badly that it cannot be driven from the scene. The driver has not been injured. A tracker has been contacted to search for the deer that ran away.
