Storlien, a woman is reported to have fallen and injured herself
The woman is said to be awake and able to speak, but is in pain. She is at the scene together with another person.
The police duty officer decides to initiate a rescue operation under the Civil Protection Act, the Act on Protection against Accidents. The woman needs help getting to medical care.
A police helicopter travels to the scene, together with a member of the medical services. The woman is collected, driven and handed over to medical care in Östersund.
Mountain rescuers also assist in the operation, which ends shortly after 15.00.
