Police regional command center has handled around 40 cases related to Jönköping County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Suspected theft outside Nässjö
Just before 23:00, the police are alerted to what is believed to be a ongoing burglary in an abandoned building on the countryside, a bit south of Nässjö town. The police rush to the scene, where they quickly gain control of two individuals after observing movement in the area. Following a check of the vehicle with its attached trailer, which the two are suspected to be connected to, copper and water pipes are found, which are then suspected to be stolen goods. The two are charged with suspicion of theft and attempted theft. The individuals are both men aged 55 and 50. In connection with the work at the scene, the police find what is initially assessed as a suspected dangerous object. The national bomb squad is called to the scene, but can soon determine that the object is not sharp.

The police have, in addition to this, carried out various routine checks, either on their own initiative or following reports from the public.
