Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.19 Assault, Norsjö:
Police patrol is ordered to Folkets hus in Norsjö where a man is alleged to have assaulted another man. The suspected man is apprehended according to the law of apprehension of intoxicated persons and is to be questioned after sobering up.

03.24 Traffic accident, Umeå:
Police are ordered to Holmsund due to a traffic accident. An A-tractor has driven into some type of foundation/abutment. A passenger is taken to medical care by ambulance. The driver, who is a minor, is suspected of being intoxicated and is to follow for blood testing. The accident is being investigated, among other things, as suspected drunk driving.

04.42 Wildlife accident, Lycksele:
Accident with a passenger car and elk on county road 363 between Vindelgransele and Grästorp. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear how the elk fared and a tracker is called out.

Other:
Four people have, in addition to the above, been apprehended for intoxication.

Police have also conducted checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
