Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.11 Assault, Härnösand:
Police patrol in central Härnösand is contacted by a security guard due to a suspected assault at an outdoor establishment. A man in his 30s is alleged to have assaulted another man. The patrol establishes a report regarding assault.

01.48 Violent resistance, Sundsvall:
Police at an outdoor establishment in central Sundsvall becomes aware of some kind of brawl/fight with multiple people involved. Two involved men are apprehended according to the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons.

They are suspected of violent resistance respectively of promoting escape (attempted to help the other man get loose from a security guard) and violent resistance, and the two are to be interrogated after sobering up.

03.44 Vandalism, Sundsvall:
Police patrol is ordered to a shop in Skönsberg where damage has been done to a windowpane. No suspected perpetrator remains on the scene. A report regarding vandalism is established.

04.45 Drug offence, Sundsvall:
During a check of a man on Haga in Sundsvall a small amount of suspected narcotics is found, which is seized. A report regarding minor drug offence is established.

Other:
Police have handled a case during the night where a man in Timrå municipality is suspected of assaulting and threatening a woman he had previously been in a relationship with. The man was apprehended and later the prosecutor has decided that the man, who is in his 55s, should be detained. A report regarding assault and unlawful threats is established.

Eight people have, in addition to the above, been apprehended for intoxication and one person has been taken in for a blood test due to suspicion of drug offence.

Police have also performed checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
