The clock 00-07, two people have been taken into custody for intoxication and one person has been taken into custody for testing after suspicion of drug offenses.

Police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.

Here follows a selection of the night's events:

01:43 Drunk driving, Krokom
Police stop a person's car on county road 671/675 at Kaxås. The driver, a 65-year-old man, blows positive and further testing is performed. A report of suspected drunk driving will be filed.

During the night, a man is arrested in a surrounding municipality to Östersunds municipality. The man is suspected of having assaulted a female relative. The prosecutor decides to detain the man.

Two hunting accidents have been reported to the police during the night and morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.
