Electronic stores in Marieberg's commercial area have been targeted by a so-called "smash and grab" burglary on Friday morning.

Kl 05:58 a call came in from a security company about an alarm being triggered from multiple sectors in the current department store. When security guards and police arrived, they found that a forklift had been used to force a door on the back of the department store. After a search, it was determined that no perpetrator was still present at the scene. What was stolen is still unclear.

Police occupied several relevant observation points in the morning without making any interesting observations relevant to the case.

The forklift was found to have been stolen earlier that night from a company in Mosås.

The two crime scenes in Marieberg and Mosås have been cordoned off to allow for technical investigations to be carried out.
