E4 Sörmjöle, two vehicles have collided. Police want to remind other road users to follow traffic rules even at an accident scene.
A passenger car is said to have skidded, gone into the central barrier and then into a light truck. Police are travelling to the scene. No personal injuries have been reported, and police do not suspect any crime in connection with the accident.
The accident occurred in the right-hand, northbound lane, and while work was underway there, traffic was temporarily directed into the left-hand lane. A driver talks on a hand-held mobile phone while passing the accident scene and police patrol. The driver is issued a fine.
The accident causes queues. A police patrol observes several cars overtaking in the right-hand lane in order to get further ahead in the queue. Overtaking in the right-hand lane is not permitted at the scene, and a number of motorists were told so. Police remind road users to follow traffic rules even at accident scenes and to slow down when passing.
