Just before 5:00 PM, police were alerted about a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 32 between Boxholm and Mjölby.

According to the alert, a person was struck by a car. At present, it is still unknown whether anyone has suffered serious injury in connection with the incident.

Police have been ordered to the scene of the accident.

Update 17:56: One person has been taken to hospital in an ambulance. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
