The police have worked to be visible in and around the area.

On Thursday, two flying inspections of vehicles were carried out (vehicles have been banned from driving), a number of drivers have been fined for traffic offenses and a report has been filed regarding vandalism. In addition, one person has been taken into custody for intoxication and one has been fined after drinking within the prohibited area (alcohol has also been confiscated).

In addition to this, the police have handled two separate incidents regarding suspected boating under the influence. The police have patrolled by boat and have received support from drones that have monitored from the air.

The police will continue to be visible in the area throughout the weekend.
