Loud noise came in about a car having started to burn in Kvarngärdet in Uppsala, there was initially a risk of spreading to other cars.

Rescue service and police rushed to the scene and the fire was extinguished.

A report on damage caused by fire is being prepared.

There are no reports of personal injuries.
