Police are ordered to a residence in Sandviken after an alarm about a disturbance in the residence between two people. When the patrol arrives, a person with a hand injury is found which suggests that some form of a stabbing weapon has been used. The injured person receives care from ambulance personnel and is taken to hospital.

Information that emerges on the scene suggests that there was a hand-to-hand combat between these two people, who have some form of a relationship with each other.

Two people, two men in their 50s, are apprehended and the patrol makes a report regarding severe assault and severe unlawful threats. The individuals are now held after contact with the prosecution department.

Parts of the residence are cordoned off pending a technical investigation.
