Police are called to a location on Drottninggatan in Katrineholm's city center after reports of a violent theft have been received. A man in his 30s is said to have kicked and beaten a younger boy according to eyewitness accounts, in order to then take his electric bicycle.

The perpetrator was later apprehended by police in the morning, suspected of robbery. The affected boy is not reported to have suffered serious physical injury.
