Here follows a selection of the night's cases.  

23.22, Strängnäs: SOS is alarmed about a single-car accident on E20 near Strängnäs. A truck has driven into the guardrail and is standing with the trailer in the right-hand lane. The driver, a 20-year-old man, is not injured. He is now suspected of reckless driving.

00.28, Eskilstuna: Police are alerted to an apartment in Alberga in Eskilstuna, where a man is said to have broken into a woman's residence. The man and the woman are acquainted with each other from earlier times. On the scene, a smashed window is seen and the man is found near the apartment. The man is apprehended suspected of assault, unlawful threats, gross breach of peace, sexual assault in a legal process, and threats against a public official. The woman did not need an ambulance. The man was detained overnight by the prosecutor who is now leading the investigation.
