Police alarm to an address in Markaryd due to an assault in a dwelling.

A 35-year-old man is suspected of having subjected a 30-year-old woman to an assault. The man and woman have some form of relationship with each other. The man is not at the scene when the police patrol arrives.

The incident is said to have occurred at 6 pm on the previous evening. The woman has not required ambulance care.

The suspect is later apprehended during the night at another address. He is now suspected of assault of a normal degree.
