On national road 50 just before Kinsta, outside Söderhamn, two passenger cars have collided since one of the vehicles drove into the side of the other.

A number of people are involved in the accident and a passenger in one of the cars is seriously injured and will be transported by ambulance helicopter to hospital.

The police will establish a report in order to investigate the cause of the accident. Both cars will also be seized.
