Suspected burglary attempt in Eskilstuna
A few minutes after 03:00, the public alerted the police after witnessing what was believed to be an ongoing burglary at an electrical company in the Vallby industrial area in Eskilstuna. It is thought that someone attempted to steal copper or similar. It is currently suspected that this does not involve a completed burglary. The police are heading to the area where they are conducting a range of person checks. No one considered suspicious has been found. Witness statements have been taken and a report has been filed regarding an attempted theft. 

In addition, the police have carried out routine checks on their own initiative or following public alarm calls.
