Under Tuesday the 6th and Wednesday the 7th of May, a police exercise will be conducted together with, among other things, the rescue service, SOS Alarm, and the ambulance in Eksjö and its surroundings.

As a resident of Eksjö, you will notice a higher presence of emergency personnel with different competencies. There will be police cars, ambulances, and fire trucks in a significantly larger number than usual on the area.

This is exclusively an exercise, and there is no cause for concern when seeing the increased number of emergency personnel.

The police regularly exercise together with other emergency actors to increase cooperation and competence in the event of accidents or other serious incidents. The exercises are part of the very important and regular professional development of the personnel.
