Summary of yesterday's efforts related to Skeppsbron in Umeå:
Police patrols on the scene have experienced a very good atmosphere in the area during the evening/night. At times, the intoxication level has been somewhat high, and a few people have been taken into custody with the support of the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons. All of these individuals were under 18 years old, and the patrols' impression is that their guardians have complied with the police's request to be available when their children were present in the area. It has gone quickly and smoothly for the police to contact the guardians and then hand over the detained individuals to them.
Police personnel experience that cooperation with the organizer, security guards, field staff, and night walkers has worked very well during the evening, and they have been perceived as a contributing factor to the good atmosphere in the area.
