
It has been a normal night in the region. Below follows a selection of events that we have handled.
Assault, Örebro at 23.20
A man in his 20s has been assaulted by an unknown man in the City area. The police have been on the scene and are writing a report on assault without a suspect. The patrol took the man to hospital for treatment of facial injuries. The reason for the assault is unclear.
Traffic Accident, Lindesberg at 01.08
A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he drove off the road with his car in Rockhammar. The man was taken by ambulance helicopter to hospital. The reason for the accident is currently unclear and the police will investigate what happened.
Assault, Ljusnarsberg at 01.35
A man in his 70s was about to interrupt what he perceived as a burglary in a car. In connection with this, he was assaulted by an unknown person. The police have been on the scene and are writing a report on aggravated assault. The victim was not in need of emergency medical care.
Aside from this, we have among other things checked 17 people or vehicles, carried out a traffic check, handled five wildlife accidents without personal injury, taken two people into custody according to the LOB, the Act on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons, and handled two cases concerning mental health.
