Incidents are reported to the police regarding a suspicious journey on Norrleden in Västerås.

A patrol locates the relevant vehicle and performs a vehicle stop. The driver, a 25-year-old man, showed no signs of impairment and was deemed sober.

However, during a check of the vehicle, a number of gas cylinders were found being transported without proper securing and there was also a lack of fire extinguishers near the load.

The police draw up a report regarding a breach of the law on flammable and explosive substances.

There is also a suspicion that the gas cylinders were intended for sale for the purpose of intoxication. The cylinders are seized along with the driver's mobile phone. The case is therefore also classified as illegal handling of gas.
