Police are alerted to a villa in Degeberga due to a break-in alarm. The owners of the property are reportedly not at home. 

No perpetrator is left on the scene when the police patrols arrive, police dogs search the area but no perpetrator is found. 

On the scene it is established that a window is open and that someone has been inside the house. It is unclear if anything has been stolen. 

Police have been in contact with the owners of the property. 

A crime scene investigation will be conducted to secure any potential evidence. A report of theft through break-in in a dwelling is made.
