During the day, a report was filed regarding fraud. The police will investigate the incident.

A woman was called by a person who claims to work for a company. The person stated that someone has tried to purchase items, of great value, in the woman's name.

The woman was also linked to a "security department" that said the incident had been reported to the police. The woman was then asked to pack up valuable items to receive "help" to keep them safe. The valuable items have been picked up by a person and are now gone.

The police would like to remind everyone again about this type of fraud, known as physical telephone fraud. If you or a family member is called by an unknown person and later asked to hand over valuable items, call the police and report the incident.
