When MFF meets AIK on Thursday evening, the police will have high presence at Eleda stadium and in central Malmö.

The police is working to prevent and act against disorderly conduct and criminal actions before, during, and after the football match. The goal is to facilitate visitors and others affected. People should experience a pleasant, safe, and secure sports event with good order in connection with the football match and without more serious disorderly conduct in the city.

The police's preparations for the match have been characterized by dialogue and collaboration with the organizer, Malmö City, the two football clubs, and various supporter groups. The police is working long-term to strengthen the positive supporter culture and thereby reduce insecurity, crime, and disorderly conduct at sports events. Football and other sports events should be a welcoming and positive public festival for everyone.

In connection with supporters taking different gathering places to Eleda Stadium, traffic disruptions may occur. The police will be on site to prevent disorderly conduct and facilitate supporters and road users.

Questions about events related to the football match or questions about the police's work are answered by Filip Annas at 0730-72 83 11 or by the press spokesperson at RLC Syd on 010-56 912 31.
